YES, DEAR

For anyone who hasn't seen this top-rated show, the storyline centers around two very different couples: the uptight, highly responsible Greg and Kim Warner, played by Anthony Clark and Jean Louisa-Kelly, and the somewhat wild and irresponsible Jimmy and Christine Hughes, played by Mike O'Malley and Liza Snyder.

Jimmy and Christine live in Greg and Kim's guest house, a fact that makes Greg none too happy. But after all, Christine is Kim's sister. The couples are poles apart on just about everything, especially their ideas on relationships and raising children. Greg and Kim follow the rules and do everything by the book; Jimmy and Christine wrote their own book. Because the couples rarely see eye to eye on anything, there is conflict and humor in almost every situation.

I was lucky enough to win the role of Christine Hughes immediately after "Jesse" had ended. In fact, I shot the pilot for "Yes, Dear" before "Jesse" had even been canceled. Although I was very sorry to say good-bye to "Jesse," I felt extremely fortunate that "Yes, Dear" was picked up for the season. When we're not working, I really enjoy spending time with the twins, 3-year olds Anthony and Michael Bain (who play "Sammy" on the show).
